Helloooo people!

Good News!!

I got myself a Canon EOS 450D along with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS lens and an EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens.

I have tried out the camera a little bit just to get used to it...the images in my gallery of the BMW E31 850i, Ford Mustang Bullitt replica and Carrum Beach were all little trial images that I took to have a little play with my new toy.

In other news; I was THIS close to buying a BMW E30 318is...but I decided against it because i'd rather six cylinders...they are BMW's best engines after all...so i'm looking out for a 325i coupe now

...but I have started a new project car with a good friend of mine...it's an old Datsun 200B which we have called "killa6" because it will kill a 6 cylinder car. Were going with worked engine internals (shaved, crack & pressure tested, port and polished cylinder head, bigger pistons, bigger cam, larger crank), dual SU side-draught carburettors, locked diff, new exhaust system, suspension and a respray (along with a new interior)and possibly some BOOST! Expect images of this car out on the race track once it's finished

When I get the chance I am going to have a practice with HDR photography as well as panning...it will be interesting to see the results
